Way to a Good Future !

        "Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom". George Washington Carver. Now a days you need at least a high school diploma to get a certain job. Without a high school diploma getting a decent job is nearly impossible. Education will guarantee you a good career, better salary, and sense of accomplishment. In order to get a high paying job you have to go to college. You can start by getting a high GPA, high SAT score, and have an interest on what you want to study.
        The first step to getting into a good college is getting a high GPA. You have to do your homework, get organized, study for test and quiz, do extra credit if necessary. If you do this in high school your sure to get a good GPA and get into the college of your choice. Having a 4.0 GPA will impress the college your applying for.
        The second thing you must do is get a high SAT score. Colleges look at GPA as well as your SAT score. SAT score increase your chance of winning a scholarship. It is the most important factor on determining your acceptance into a good college. Its a good idea to study for the SAT and take the PSAT to see where you stand.
        Finally, you must pick a highly ranked college and have an interest in mind that you want to study. Its important to pick a highly ranked college because your standards will be high and benefits you in the future. Having an interest in mind is essential. Statistic shows about 400,000 students drop out each year and end up not earning their degree. By the end of freshman year in college some students change their major, which is money gone to waste. In order to save money and cut out the complication have your major in mind. If your not sure what you want to major in your can take some tests online which can help you figure out what you might be good at. 
        As you can see getting into a good college starts from now and it takes a lot of hard work. Its absolutely imperative that you get a good GPA to begin with so your on the right track, get a high SAT score, and last but very crucial have an interest in mind that you want to study. Without education it is tough to get a high paying job. Yes, it might be hard but do not procrastinate, it will be worth it in the end. "No pain no Gain".

Without it, no species would survive.”  When desperation knocks people will go to great lengths to survive. They will do things they wouldn't normally do and instincts takes over.

         In the show "Ellen Degeneres" two adults got stranded in the forest without food or proper clothing.They had to be brave and use their survival instinct to survive. They had to sleep on the cold ground. As the days went by they were giving up hope of ever being found. When hunger strikes they began to hunt for food. They ate animal and other insects that they found. Is insects a part of your daily diet ? I dont think so, but when you're stranded in the forest you have no choice but to make a meal of it.

       In the story “Jamestown Flood” a little girl of the name Gertrude had to survive all on her own until help came. She lost her house and some of her family members in the blink of an eye. Water high enough to reach the third floor rush in leaving her on dirty old mattress. That mattress was her only hope of surviving. Until and man came along , rapped her in a blanket and tossed her across the water to safety. If Gertrude wasn't brave she would have lost her life in the flood.

    Eating insects , sleeping on the cold ground , holding on to a mattress for hours, and hunting animals are not a part of your everyday life but when your life depends on it ,you will do it without hesitation. When you're stuck in difficult circumstances you have a different perspective on life than you normally do.
